The Podcast
The podcast is a conversation—plain, thoughtful, and unhurried—about life, faith, culture, and the stories that shape us. Each episode is built around dialogue rather than declarations. Some conversations are reflective. Some are challenging. Most are grounded in lived experience.
This isn’t a show about winning arguments or presenting polished conclusions. It’s a place to slow things down, listen carefully, and consider how ordinary moments often carry extraordinary meaning when we take the time to notice them.
As I’ve written elsewhere, some of the most important lessons in life don’t come from fireworks moments. They come from common, ordinary conversations that quietly change everything. That’s the kind of space this podcast is meant to create.
Why It Exists
The heartbeat behind this podcast goes back to a simple sentence my dad said to me years ago:
“Son, regardless of what happens, let’s always be able to talk.”
That idea still matters—especially now.
We live in a time when conversations are rushed, polarized, or avoided altogether. This podcast exists to push gently against that current. It’s an attempt to create room for honest dialogue across differences, across generations, and across experiences—without posturing or performance.
Stories help us do that. They remind us that we’re more alike than we think, that pain and hope often travel together, and that understanding usually begins with listening. If you’ve ever felt caught between what you were taught and what you’re learning, or between tradition and change, these conversations are for you.
As I wrote in Free Fall, stories reach their full value when we move beyond what happened and begin to ask, so what? This podcast lives in that question.
What You'll Hear
You’ll hear conversations shaped by faith, resilience, and stewardship—but never forced into neat categories. You’ll hear reflections on leadership, family, loss, legacy, and what it looks like to finish well. Some episodes include guests. Some are simply conversations meant to be overheard and considered.
The common thread is respect—for people, for stories, and for the weight they carry.
Where To Listen
This page is just an introduction.
The podcast has its own dedicated home where you can explore full episodes, guest information, show notes, and additional resources. From there, you’ll also find links to listen on your preferred platform and ways to stay connected as new episodes are released.
If you’re looking for a place where conversation still matters—where we can think, listen, and talk together—this is a good place to continue.
