COMMON MOMENTS.
UNCOMMON LESSONS.
The Philosophy
I don’t view speaking as a performance.
I view it as a conversation.
For more than forty years, I’ve served in three very different worlds—the military battlefield, the corporate boardroom, and the local church. The uniforms changed. The settings changed. But the human need for connection never did.
Every room is filled with people who, at some point, have felt the ground disappear beneath them. A moment when life didn’t go according to plan. A season where the questions came faster than the answers. I call those moments a free fall—and most of us know exactly what that feels like.
When I stand in front of a group, my goal isn’t to hype a crowd or impress anyone with a résumé. My goal is to tell the truth. I use stories—often about simple, ordinary things like a tea kettle, a napkin, or a brick—to help people see their own lives more clearly.
If I tell a story and we can’t answer the question “So what?” then I haven’t done my job. The measure of a good talk isn’t whether people remember my story. It’s whether they leave ready to steward their own.
The Environment
I’ve spoken to veterans who know pressure and loss firsthand. I’ve stood in churches of thousands. I’ve sat with small groups willing to lean in and do honest work. Regardless of the size or setting, I bring the same posture—authenticity, clarity, and respect for the people in the room.
This isn’t about volume or theatrics. It’s about presence.
Where I Can Help
Leadership Meetings
We move beyond theory to talk about authority, credibility, and decision-making shaped by real consequences—the “battlefield to boardroom” reality leaders actually face.
Veterans Groups & Military Events
I speak from shared ground. Military service leaves a mark—discipline, sacrifice, loss, transition, brotherhood. Whether addressing active duty, reservists, veterans, or military families, I talk honestly about identity beyond the uniform, navigating life after service, and carrying both strength and scars with integrity. These conversations aren’t sentimental. They’re grounded in experience and respect.
Men’s Retreats
We have the hard conversations about discipline, fatherhood, integrity, and what it really means to be a man in a culture that’s often confused about the definition.
Marriage Conferences
Drawing from the legacy of my parents’ sixty-five years together, we talk honestly about commitment, The Napkin, and what it looks like to stay when life gets heavy.
Church Services & Conferences
I preach the Gospel plainly, with a focus on stewardship, generosity, and the spiritual weight of leaving a legacy that outlives us.
The Invitation
I’m not interested in filling a slot on an agenda.
I’m interested in making a deposit into your people.
If you’re looking for someone who will preach at your audience or put on a show, I’m probably not your guy. But if you want someone who will pull up a chair, look people in the eye, and offer hard-earned hope rooted in Biblical truth and lived experience, then let’s talk.
